End of the Year Blog Post: 2017 in review

In keeping with the tradition of the past few years, we are ending the year with a blog post reflecting on the previous year. 2017 continued to be full of many great experiences for our firm. We added additional staff to our Racine, WI office and our support team while continuing to achieve great results for our clients.

In 2017, Pat was again named in Best Lawyers in America, and Super Lawyers. Our firm also remained named in Best Law Firms in America. We tried two critical cases this year and were victorious in both. Both cases resulted in acquittals of serious felony charges for our clients. Pat’s trial in Kenosha resulted in his client avoiding exposure to significant prison time and avoiding having multiple felonies on his record for the rest of his life. In Racine, Pat and Jillian tried a case together and obtained multiple acquittals for their client. Prior to trial, this client was facing substantial time in prison, which he was ultimately able to avoid. These cases continue to solidify our leadership position not only in Racine but also the surrounding municipalities in southeast Wisconsin such as Kenosha.

Other notable results we achieved were having many cases dismissed, and even more, amended from felonies to misdemeanors. 2017 was no different than any other year, in that we continued to work hard for each and every one of our clients. We are thankful for our clients and their families that trust our expert team to help and guide them in difficult situations.
