After the Journal Times restructured the category to a firm-wide award in 2021, Cafferty & Scheidegger has won Best Attorney/Law Office of Racine in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2025.

The reason 2020 was awarded to Patrick individually rather than the firm is that the Journal Times restructured the contest after the 2020 cycle, replacing the individual-lawyer category with a firm-wide award. The five wins are one continuous tradition under two contest formats.
2025: Cafferty & Scheidegger, Best Attorney/Law Office of Racine
The 2025 Journal Times Reader’s Choice results put Cafferty & Scheidegger at the top of the legal category for the fourth time as a firm. The win was announced by the firm on November 3, 2025 and confirmed on the Journal Times Reader’s Choice 2025 ballot/winners page.
2023: Best of Racine County, third firm-wide win
The 2023 results appear in Amplified Wisconsin’s official Best of Racine County 2023 print supplement on Issuu, page 26. The firm announced the win in late 2023.
2022: Best of Racine County, second firm-wide win
Confirmed by the Journal Times 2022 winners article, which also noted at the time that this was the firm’s third consecutive year as Best of Racine in the legal category, counting Patrick’s 2020 individual win.
2021: Best of Racine County, first firm-wide win after the contest restructure
The 2021 cycle was the first under the new firm-wide format. Cafferty & Scheidegger took the top spot, with Pruitt Law Offices and Knuteson, Hinkston & Rosenberg named Hometown Favorites (the structure that replaced 2nd and 3rd place under the prior format).
